English: Finding Journal Articles

Quick Tips

The quickest and easiest way to find journal articles is to use QCat Article Search - it is on the library homepage.  This will search across all full-text articles available at Queen’s.

If you are looking for a specific article just enter the title into the search box.  For more general searches enter some keywords - the results page will give you plenty of options to limit and improve your search.  The presentations on this page will show you how to find articles and use QCat Article Search.

If you need to do very specialist searches then try one of the Key Databases in your subject area.  Your subject librarian will be able to advise on the best one to use.

Please get in touch if you are having problems – just click here for your subject librarian's contact details.
