Lean Library browser extension will provide access to full text where the Library has a subscription.
Where full text access cannot be fulfilled from our subscription resources, Lean Library searches for a legal Open Access alternative.

Once Lean Library is installed on your browser, you will be guided to check for full text availability by the pop up.
If we have access, you will be prompted to input your QUB login credentials and full text access will be granted.
Where full text is not available, you will see the option for Requesting an Inter Library Loan
*Please note that the procedure for requesting Inter Library Loans varies according to your user category.
If you see the message
Library Access
The extension will only be active when you are on an academic site. If you have any questions, contact our library.
this indicates you are not on a publisher site, therefore Lean Library extension is not active.
If you are a publisher site and receive the message

click on the extension icon to activate Lean Library
and refresh the webpage.
