The Library at Queen's offers a wide range of services and resources, all designed to help you find the information you need to support your studies. Some of these services and resources are available physically in the Library, while others are available on-line for you to access on campus and from home.

The Library website is your gateway to:

• QCat Article Search (for full text articles searching across the databases)
• QCat Library Catalogue (for books, e-books, QUB theses, individual journal titles and databases and more)
• E-books (most can be read on a tablet, iPad or Smartphone)
• E-journals
• Databases (search specialist databases for a more comprehensive search. These are recommended on your own subject's LibGuide page. Alternatively, you can browse the database A-Z list)
• LibGuides (subject guides prepared by the university's specialist Subject Librarians)
• On-line support via the Library's social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube)
• Library Help (interactive Library FAQs service)

Your own LibGuides may have a further recommended resources, many of which are freely available.

Consider Open Access repositories such as DOAJ, CORE and ROAR.

Other Library catalogues can tell you if an item exists (particularly a book).

For items not owned by QUB (articles or books), it is possible to get an Inter-library loan.
