Healthcare Library Access Update – May 2024

As of May 2024, the Healthcare Library has enhanced security by transitioning to an Azure-based Shibboleth login system. We are aware of some ongoing access issues and are actively working to resolve them.

Key Changes to Login Process:

  • Login Page: You’ll now see the Queen’s University login page instead of the Healthcare Library branded page.
  • Username Format: Enter your library number in this format:

Quick Troubleshooting Tips:

  1. Try a Different Browser:

    • Use Chrome or Edge, or open an InPrivate (Edge) or Incognito (Chrome) window.
    • Ensure you’re logged out of all other Microsoft-authenticated resources and clear your browser's cache.
  2. Login Errors:

    • If you see a “permissions” error without the login prompt, first try clearing your browser cache.
    • On HSC Trust networks, select 'Use a different account' if standard login fails. Use a different account
