Welcome to this guide on finding information for Social Work, Please use the tabs above to find information on the various aspects of using the library website.
The Healthcare Libraries have re-opened although capacity may be reduced to meet appropriate social distancing guidelines. Please check with your local library for information on access, opening hours etc.
Book Loans: it is possible to borrow books again
Online resources: Access remains unchanged .
Training: Contact me by email to discuss the most appropriate way to meet your training needs. for example, I can attend a staff or team meeting or provide bespoke training sessions by Zoom, Microsoft teams or in person, (in keeping with Trust guidelines) or I can send a pre-recorded presentation.
Help and support is still available: I can provide 1-1 support remotely, by email, phone or virtually using zoom or microsoft teams. It may be possible to provide face to face training, depending on local circumstances. Please contact me to discuss how I can help you with searches, or finding the information that you need.
Please note as I continue to work between home and the Healthcare Library in Craigavon Hospital the best way to contact me is by email.
It is always best to do your own literature search, however we recognise there are times when that just is not possible, either because you cannot find what you need, or you are pressed for time. if you need a search done, please complete this form and I will carry out a search for you.
