Covid-19 and the library.
With the physical library closed, I will be working from home. Whether you are an undergraduate, post-graduate academic staff, I will continue to deliver advice, training or guidance so please continue emailing your queries directly to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I can answer via email or Microsoft Teams which is available to all QUB staff and students at this link https://office365.qub.ac.uk/. Get in touch if you require assistance with your literature review, designing a search strategy and selecting / searching databases, finding articles and material or if you have any other subject specific queries.
The Library blog https://blogs.qub.ac.uk/library/ will be updated during the Covid-19 outbreak, and Library Help will provide answers to FAQs https://libguides.qub.ac.uk/coronavirus. However, get in touch if you require assistance with your literature review, designing a search strategy and selecting / searching databases, finding articles and material or if you have any other subject specific queries.
Worth checking are the resources which some publishers and agents have opened up during the Covid-19 crisis. You can find a full list here.

We provide a range of services to staff and students to facilitate this process, including online materials, workshops and one-to-one appointments with undergraduate students. We have a large library of online resources covering writing, planning, time management, referencing and plagiarism, critical reading and writing and exam preparation among many other topics, available at http://www.qub.ac.uk/directorates/sgc/learning/ .
For academic skills support, we encourage you to contact your Learning Development Tutor for the School of Arts, English and Languages, Laura McGinnis, at email@example.com or 02890 973579.
