UK Data Service / Archive

The UK Data Service / Archive provides access for academic staff and students to the largest collection of social, economic and population data sets for research and teaching purposes covering a range of different disciplines.

The first time you use the service you'll be asked to register. After doing so, you will be able to log in to any of the data sets and surveys listed in the boxes. 

Data is sourced from:

  • official agencies - mainly central government
  • international statistical agencies
  • individual academics with research grants
  • market research agencies
  • historical sources
  • other data archives worldwide
