Management: Support for Teaching

Support for Teaching

Library support for teaching is co-ordinated by subject librarians working in three subject teams. Each School has a designated subject librarian within the team.

If you have a teaching responsibility for a module, please contact your subject librarian to ensure that the library can provide the appropriate books and readings to support teaching. Subject librarians also take an active role in providing support for information skills. Training sessions can be arranged for students and other support material provided.

The Support for Teaching guide explain the various options available for the provision of reading material at Queen's. These include the use of e-books, scanned extracts and classroom or course-pack photocopies.

Support material has been gathered under three main headings, covering requesting books for your module, requesting readings for you module, and photocopying for teaching purposes.
