The Springshare products used by the Library at Queen’s, i.e. LibGuides, LibAnswers and LibCal, are fully accessible according to VPAT guidelines, which meet the standards set by Section 508, WCAG 2.1.
In addition, Library staff ensure that content added to LibGuides, LibAnswers and LibCal is created according to the best accessibility guidelines e.g. by adding alt text to images, ensuring PDF documents are compatible with screen readers, and arranging content in a clear, meaningful way.
