Biological Sciences: Training and Support

Training and Support

This guide is designed to help you find and use the library resources most useful for your subject or research. As your Subject Librarian, I am available to provide training and support on:

  • searching for and locating library resources.
  • using specific databases relevant to biological sciences.
  • building a literature search.
  • using EndNote reference management software.

Please get in touch if you have any questions at all.  I am happy to meet via Microsoft Teams or in-person if you have any questions or need assistance in getting started with Library resources.

Although I am based at the Agri-Food Biosciences Library on Newforge Lane, I am more than happy to visit all Queen's University sites as required, including the School of Biological Sciences, the Biomedical Library or McClay Library.

Please check out my drop-in sessions schedule and training programme below.

Library training events are delivered both in-person and via Microsoft Teams.  Please visit MyFuture or email to book your place.
