EZproxy Service Migration to the Cloud

Our EZproxy service migrated to the Cloud on 27th Aug 2024.
EZproxy is an authentication solution that remotely connects you securely to our university eresources - i.e., articles, ejournals and databases - from anywhere, even when you are off-campus.

How does the change affect me?

Update bookmarks, permalinks or stable URLs

Bookmarks, saved permalinks or URLs will eventually no longer work if they contain queens.ezp1.qub.ac.uk when our former service is retired.
You should check and update your links from:
https://queens.ezp1.qub.ac.uk/login?url=
to new EZproxy prefix:
https://qub.idm.oclc.org/login?url=

This applies to URLs saved on your device, documents, slides, teaching materials, embedded on Queen's Online or Canvas.

Permalinks from Library Search that begin https://qub.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/permalink are unaffected and will continue to work e.g.,
https://qub.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/permalink/44QSUB_INST/1srh3fv/alma991008515974908046

Update Recommended Readings - Scanned Articles and Book Chapters

Article Links on the CLA system Recommended Readings - Scanned Articles and Book Chapters have now been updated with the new proxy prefix. If you have copied Article Link on the CLA system Recommended Readings - Scanned Articles and Book Chaptersthese will need to be copied again and pasted in your recommending

Download links are unaffected.
