Once you are logged on to a computer on campus, many QUB eresources do not require a login, either in the Library or Computer Labs.

When you are working from home (off-campus), you can set up Google to identify content to which QUB has access and link through to it. You need to do the following:
1. Click the Menu icon in Google Scholar:
2. From the settings menu click on Library Links:
3. Search for "Queen's University Belfast", [NB the search in Scholar is very precise - you need to include the apostrophe] tick the box and Save:
4. Once the Qconnect library link is activated a link will appear beside any references available in full-text to QUB. If you follow this link you will be directed to the full-text.

EndNote Click is an extension that integrates on the webpage and provides a button overlay when a full text PDF is available. Users are provided with online storage space for PDFs and can affiliate themselves with their institution library to gain access to institutional subscriptions.
GetFTR Get Full Text Research is a free to use browser extension using existing industry standards such as DOIs and SAML based federated authentication.
Open Access browser extensions include:
CORE Discovery extension for Chrome provides access to full text open access papers.
Unpaywall extension for Chrome and Firefox provides legal access to peer-reviewed journal articles.
OA Helper designed to help access OA articles, using APIs from unpaywall.org and core.ac.uk.
Open Access Button extension for Chrome provides access to free, legal research articles delivered instantly or automatically requested from authors.
Google Scholar Button is a Chrome extension. It can affiliate with institution which means that the link resolver will also appear as part of the extension, allowing the reader to access library subscription holdings and OA resources.
