NB: Associate members do not have access to the group study rooms in the library.
Your library record/account is deemed to be in default when you have overdue books and/or outstanding fines.
Printing and photocopying are available for a fee using your library smartcard (library card). Funds can be loaded on to your library card online by logging into your library account through Queen's Online (QOL) . The funds on your smart card can also be used to purchase food and drink in some of the restaurants and cafés on the QUB campus.
If your membership is due to expire, please ensure any balance on your library card is used before the expiry date as it cannot be refunded.
NB: On completion of payment, when in the library, insert your library card into a printer reader for updating. This updating process will add the funds to the card and you will see the balance on your card. You can then use the funds for printing and photocopying.
Printing or photocopying costs 5p per page for black and white, or 20p per page for colour.
NB: make sure to choose the black and white option if collecting your printing from a colour machine.

Associate membership of the Library does not include off campus access to any electronic resources because our licences specify that this facility is available only to current staff and students of the university.
